I like using indeed because it shows what is out there and not just in your area you can do a wide spread of your surrounding cities towns and shows you how far the commute is from your location! Also you can search for what job you’re looking for or field of work you would like there’s also a career ai that helps you with jobs based on your resume! There’s also a feature to get someone to look at your resume however that is the only thing that cost money but can be helpful!

I recently sent feedback on the app requesting that they provide the option to upload your own cover letter when applying for jobs instead of only having the option to write one inside their platform. A week later the upload feature is now added to the app. Nice improvement and it’s nice to know that they are actively listening and considering recommendations from people who use the app.

I have used this app with earnest for a few days. If you have taken the time to build your resume, and you have marketable skills, you will receive replies to your applications in a timely manner. This is very much a viable means of seeking employment opportunities. Much better than the days of driving around and turning in applications with the hope of getting a call back.

I’ve been able to use this app to find many open positions and with indeed they make it super easy to apply to a job. Only problem I’m having is getting repeat messages of the same message that was only sent once. I confirmed with the company I applied at that they only sent it once but have received it multiple times over the past few days besides this bug I love this app.

I’ve been using Indeed for 6 months, and it’s been a complete waste of time. My applications disappear, and I never get any response. I don’t recommend this app if you actually want to get a job. My best advice: go in person from job to job to ask if they’re hiring. Based on my experience, Indeed is not a good option.
